I am passionate about helping professional women and men rediscover their power using EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, self-care, boundaries, self-love, and a variety of person-centered clinical interventions.
EMDR therapy is a therapy that helps individuals heal from the symptoms and emotional distress related to past disturbances and traumatic experiences. It is used to treat children and adults of all ages.
CBT therapy is a type of Psychotherapy that challenges negative beliefs and thought patterns about the individual and the world with hopes of changing negative/unwanted behavior patterns.
DBT is a modified type of CBT. It is used to teach people to live in the moment by developing healthy coping strategies for stress, emotional
regulation, and improve their relationships with others. DBT uses a combination of mindfulness skills to help individuals slow down and pay
attention to ways in which various triggers impact one’s thoughts, feelings, and impulses.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is goal-directed and focuses on solutions rather than the problems that brought the individual to seek therapy. Its short-term, goal-focused, evidence-based therapeutic approach incorporates practices and principles that help clients change by building solutions to identified problems.
Strength-Based Therapy focuses on the individual's existing resources, positive qualities and attributes, and resilience as a means of improving quality of life, reducing identified challenges, symptoms and problems.
Person- Centered Therapy focuses on the needs of the client by encouraging them to be more involved in their therapeutic process by helping to maximize their ability to resolve difficult situations on their own. The therapist is mainly a guide or source of support for the client during these sessions allowing the client to take the reins and steer the direction of the session.
Support groups allow individuals with similar goals, struggles and concerns come together and support one another. In support groups individuals can get tips, support, and hear other perspectives on relevant topics.
Brainspotting is a talk therapy used to locate points in the clients fixed eye positions to help access unprocessed trauma in the brain. This helps clients uncover hidden mental and emotional traumas and challenges. This therapy is used to help individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds process and work through past traumas.
